Content Producer

OAT is looking for a Content Producer with experience in technical writing to support our marketing and product documentation efforts. The Content Producer will be responsible for creating compelling digital copy and product training materials that attract, engage, and support audiences throughout the buyer’s journey. 

The ideal candidate is motivated by a desire to understand the challenges and opportunities facing our diverse audiences and develops content that informs and inspires each segment. Having a strong background in technical writing, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise language is critical to the role. The Content Producer collaborates closely with our product teams to ensure accuracy and relevance in all materials produced, and plays a key role in maintaining tone, consistency and quality across all content.

The candidate also feels comfortable creating content in a variety of formats – including but not limited to product-driven articles, knowledge base documentation, product training materials, product demo content, tutorial videos and social media. In addition, this role may assist in creating or editing graphic design assets and HTML/CSS templates as needed. 

The Content Producer’s responsibilities are split between technical writing and marketing content support. The candidate should be comfortable working remotely and across different time zones as we are a global company. This position is 100% remote and open to candidates in the United States. Applications from candidates based in or around Boston, MA are preferred. 


As a member of the digital marketing team, the Content Producer develops, executes, and analyzes digital content to support product-led growth.

Technical Writing: 

  • Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and optimize product documentation end-to-end, including internal and client-facing user guide manuals, technical specifications, white papers, process workflows, videos, etc. .
  • Monitor, document and maintain documentation support tickets based on product releases and user requests.
  • Collaborate internally with Product teams to document new features and maintain the most up-to-date versions of the TAO user documentation and training videos on the TAO website.
  • Manage and develop training content for the TAO Knowledge Base following the product release schedule and client support tickets.
  • Create content in alternative media formats including weekly product tutorial videos, using a consistent voice across all documentation. Thoroughly research and implement roughly two new product training courses per week.
  • Draft monthly release notes for all TAO product lines, collaborating directly with the appropriate internal teams to ensure consistent and accurate communication with clients.

Content Marketing:

  • Collaborate on the editorial calendar with the goals of driving product awareness, engagement, and business growth for OAT. 
  • Use SEO best practices to create website articles that help drive TAO’s user adoption while managing the consistency of the brand voice and tone across product related communications.
  • Assist in developing product announcement campaigns end-to-end across digital channels. 
  • Assist in the development of monthly product webinars with product experts.
  • Develop engaging demo content and coordinate product profiles for industry events. 
  • Assist in the development of html/css-based web landing page and email templates as needed.
  • Develop product tutorial content for social media accounts, collaborating with the Marketing Communications Manager on a consistent content/posting schedule. Measure engagement trends and adapt posts accordingly for increased engagement. 


  • 3-5 years of experience as an editorial content marketer, technical writer, or digital marketer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for translating technical language into user-friendly content
  • Native English speaker or fluency in English
  • Portfolio of previous work demonstrating records of successfully developing high-quality technical documentation, articles, video, graphics etc.
  • Basic experience with HTML/CSS & ability to edit template design
  • Intermediate experience with Adobe CC tools like Illustrator, Photoshop etc. 
  • Intermediate experience with professional video editing software like Premiere, IMovie etc.  
  • Expertise in social media campaign management, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram 
  • Extensive experience working on multiple projects and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress. 
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and HubSpot (certified preferred)
  • Working knowledge of JIRA or other product management & ticketing based systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, technical writing, marketing, English or related field  
  • Responsible, energetic, collaborative, and self-motivated
