Managing groups using hierarchies

Organizational units are composed of users and groups and may be part of a hierarchy structure. This section provides instructions on how to manage your OU hierarchy on a group level. Using the hierarchy structure ensures that groups included in an OU cannot access data in a different OU.

This feature needs to be enabled by an administrator. Please contact your administrator if you want to use it.

Viewing Groups

1. Navigate to the Groups section in the main menu of the TAO Portal.

2. View the list of groups, which includes a column displaying the OU to which each group is assigned.
